
Purpose:
The purpose of this certificate is to help you grow
in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Biblical
principles you learn will need to be applied first to your
own life. This certificate will equip you to do basic counseling. It
is designed to teach you to apply the scriptures to problems. The
goal is to teach you to think Biblically about people and their
problems and to function as an Ambassador of Christ as you speak His
life giving word into others. Each student will be required to
complete the 15 hours of coursework from United Graduate College
and Seminary before we will grant this certificate.
Five 3-Hour Courses constitute 15 hours that
are needed for this certificate.
Curriculum:
Each student is required to Thoroughly Read
each book listed below. Each book is
considered a (One 3-Hour Course).
After each book is read, you need to write a 12 to 25 page paper for
each book. In each paper we want you to: 1. List the valuable
truths found in each book. 2. Tell us how you will use
these principles in your ministry to others. 3. How has this
material impacted your walk with the Lord? Each paper is to be
typed with no grammatical errors. Size 12 font, in MLA format is suggested.
